Building on the proven Mark III Positive Lock Connector System, the new HVAC connectors are available in four- and five-position housings to allow fast, positive connections to the motor's power and discrete speed tap control contact tabs. The connectors are designed for easy use, with low mating forces, positive locking of the mated connection with an audible click, and polarized housings to prevent mismating of circuits.

New Compact Power Line Filters RK Series

Harrisburg, PA, January 29, 2008â€”Tyco Electronics has introduced the new RK series of power line filters. These compact, chassis-mount filters use single-stage filtering to achieve the high differential mode performance required in industrial machinery in noisy environments. Low leakage current of only 0.16 mA at 120 VAC/60 Hz also makes the filter well suited for portable equipment.

Available with current ratings of 10, 15, and 20 A, the filters are rated for voltages up to 250 VAC. Designed for global applications, they are UL Recognized, CSA Certified and VDE Approved.

Targeted applications include high-noise industrial environments, portable equipment, HVAC equipment, switched mode power supplies and vending equipment such as ATMs, cafÃ© vending, and kiosks.

SELF-LAMINATING LABEL AND DISPENSER SYSTEM

Tyco Electronics Corporation has introduced WCD self-laminating label dispensers. WCD label dispensers contain write-on self-laminating labels that can be used in electronics, industrial applications and general-purpose labelling applications where the protective attributes of self-laminating labels are desired. WCD dispensers are pocket sized and contain a roll of pre-cut self-laminating cable markers. Each marker has a white mark able area that is laminated by the clear portion of the label as it is wrapped and secured around a wire or cable.

The AMP Circular Plastic Connector (CPC) product line from Tyco Electronics Corporation has expanded with the introduction of the Series 45 Ethernet connector. The Series 45 Ethernet connector accepts RJ45 inserts for Ethernet communication applications. With rugged shells, housings and receptacles, and IP67 sealing performance, the Series 45 Ethernet connector is well suited for industrial machinery, diagnostics equipment, printers and other applications in locations where ruggedization and environmental sealing are necessary.

Series 45 Ethernet connectors are designed for Category 5 and 5e cable. A positive lock coupling helps provide reliable connections, and a protective cap can be used to cover receptacles when not in use. Pass-through assemblies, field-installable receptacles, and unshielded product options are also available.

This product is RoHS compliant.
