New Family of CORCOM DB Series Power Intlet Filters

Tyco Electronics Expands Line of Power-Entry Modules

Tyco Electronics has announced the addition of a 10-amp version of its Corcom GG series general-purpose and HG series medical filtered power-entry modules. A 5-inch (127 mm) wire lead option has also been introduced for the HG medical modules to aid in module installation. Previously, the lines were offered in ratings of 1, 3, and 6 amps.

HARRISBURG, Pa - Nov. 7, 2008 - RK series power line filters areÂ compact, chassis-mount units. TheyÂ use single-stage filtering to achieve the high differential mode performance required in instrumentation, industrial machinery and other equipment in noisy environments. Low leakage current of only 0.16 mA at 120 VAC/60 Hz also makes these filters well suited for portable equipment.

Standard models in the RK series are available with current ratings of 10, 15, and 20 A. Designed for global applications, these filters are rated for voltages up to 250 VAC. They are UL Recognized, CSA Certified and VDE Approved.

RAST 5 Option Added to CORCOM WG Power Line Filter Family

HARRISBURG, Pa. - May 15, 2008 - The popular WG Power Line Filter family for appliances and white goods has expanded with the option of a RAST 5 connector interface to simplify installation and help eliminate potential wiring errors. The tubular filter is now available with an unkeyed two-position RAST 5 header that mates with Tyco Electronics' Standard Power Timer connectors or the RAST 5 Positive Lock Mark III connectors. A built-in latching mechanism also improves housing retention.
