TTMS-MP Oval Heat-Shrink Tubing

HARRISBURG, Pa. -- March 6, 2009 -- The semi-flattened oval shape of the new TTMS-MP cable marker sleeves makes them faster and easier to slip onto cables, thereby speeding installation. Designed for computer-based printing using a T2000CT printer, the heat-shrink marker sleeves are supplied in large packs - typically 50 or 100 meters - to minimize spool changes during a print run. The product format makes TTMS-MP identification tubing suitable for applications where in-sequence kitting is not of over-riding importance, for example where several hundred identical markers are required.

Thermal Transfer High Accuracy Printer Offers Superior Print Quality

London -- Feb. 24, 2009 -- Tyco Electronics has recently introduced a new robust, 24-hour duty cycle mid-range thermal transfer printer, designed for printing Tyco Electronics' range of identification marker sleeves, cable markers and thermal transfer labels (including thermal transfer Multimark). The new light weight and high print accuracy TE3124 printer is replacing Tyco Electronics T300, T400, TTD and TTP series printers. It is priced lower than the existing T312M printer and is now the only printer qualified to print the entire thermal transfer range of Tyco Electronics identification products.

Identification Products --- Lead Time Changes for the Americas

Due to the transfer of Tyco Electronics' identification products manufacturing from Swindon, UK to Trutnov, Czech Republic, lead times for many of the identification products ordered by customers in the Americas have increased. A summary of the lead-time changes by product are shown in the attached spreadsheet. On November 13, 2008 the lead times for these products were updated in the SAP and the E-commerce quotation systems.
