Tyco Electronics Foundation

The Tyco Electronics Foundation is the conduit for Tyco Electronics Corporation to make charitable contributions in those U.S. communities where employees live and work. To support the needs of our technology-driven world and the future of Tyco Electronics, the Foundation focuses on education, with an emphasis on pre-college math and science. Although education is the largest category, we also make contributions to organizations that have a community impact, particularly those programs with an educational component.

Supporting Math & Science Education

Tyco Electronics endeavors to be a good neighbor and is committed to the communities that sustain it. In today's information society, that means helping schools enter the electronic age through state-of-the-art networking. Tyco Electronics and its employees have donated equipment and services to make several schools where it has facilities virtual showplaces for information connectivity. Tyco Electronics hardware - fiber and coaxial cable and more traditional copper wiring - and technical expertise have transformed classrooms and libraries.
