Shu Ebe is Senior Vice President, Business Development, Asia Pacific of Tyco Electronics, one of the world’s largest providers of engineered electronic components, network solutions, undersea telecommunication systems and wireless systems. With fiscal 2007 sales of US$13.0 billion, Tyco Electronics has approximately 92,000 employees in approximately 50 countries.

Mr. Ebe is responsible for strengthening relationships with Asian automotive customers and supporting the Asia Pacific automotive team to drive the key programs critical to the company’s success such as quality service and cost improvement.

Since joining the company as part of AMP in 1977, Mr. Ebe has focused on the automotive market, and has successfully taken on additional sales and management responsibilities. Notable among his accomplishments is Tyco Electronics’ successful penetration into the Japanese multinational auto makers.

Mr. Ebe also serves as President of Tyco Electronics AMP K.K. and Tyco Electronics Raychem K.K., the company’s Japanese operations, and is chairman of the Mechanical Components Committee of JEITA (Japan Electronics & Information Technology Industries Association) in Japan.

Mr. Ebe holds a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Medicine from Nippon University in Japan.
