 Michael Robinson serves as Senior Vice President of Operations for Tyco Electronics, one of the world’s largest providers of engineered electronic components, network solutions, wireless systems and undersea telecommunication systems. With fiscal 2007 sales of US$13.0 billion, Tyco Electronics has approximately 92,000 employees in approximately 50 countries.

Mr. Robinson’s responsibilities include leadership of the company’s strategic purchasing, manufacturing, logistics and quality assurance functions as well as Six Sigma and Lean process improvements.

Mr. Robinson joined Tyco Electronics from United Technologies where he served as Vice President of Operations, Residential and Light Commercial International at Carrier Corporation. Prior to that he held general and senior management positions at Pratt & Whitney.

Mr. Robinson holds a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University New York, U.S. and a master’s degree from Boston University, Massachusetts, U.S.
