Tyco Electronics has introduced the CORCOM SRB series shielded line filter. This new development has shrunk the typical line filter footprint by roughly 25%. CORCOM SRB series filters employ a complete shield design with a number of capacitance values. Additionally, the SRB series is designed to provide cost effective performance for power supplies and other applications where a minimal footprint and low cost are desired. With varying levels of common mode performance, the SRB line filter allows designers to address conducted emissions concerns and may help to contain radiated emissions as well.

SRB line filters are rated for up to 15A at 250 VAC (10A VDE) and all configurations of the product are available in unfiltered versions, or designers may select from up to eight capacitance values for different application requirements. The SRB can be specified for snap-in or flange/screw mounting. Also, termination options include FASTON terminals, wire leads or pin termination.
