The AMP NETCONNECT RJ45 SECURE is a jack and plug connector system that features mutually exclusive keys to provide restricted access to ports and physical segregation of network connections. There are six unique keying options - each color-coded to assist in identification of the correct jack. Simply stated, the plug and jack colors must match or the keying will prevent them from mating -RJ45 SECURE plugs won't even mate with standard RJ45 jacks - only the correct, same-color jacks.
