Tyco Electronics introduces the Micro K Through Hole Reflow (THR) relay. The Micro K THR relay is designed for reflow solder processes.

Tyco Electronics introduces the Micro K Through Hole Reflow (THR) relay to the existing Micro K family. The Micro K relay product family already offers through hole technology (THT) products for conventional wave soldering and products for surface mounted devices (SMD).

The New Micro K (THR)Relay is designed for reflow solder processes. The Micro K THR relay design shares the advantages of compact size as the THT relay for vehicle environments with limited space while offering economical and technology driven solutions using the reflow soldering process. The Micro K THR relay has a PCB area of 155mm for use in such applications as motor and heater environments, supply (clamp) loads to lamp and turn signal loads. The bistable version of the Micro K (Micro Power K Latching, THT only) is particularly suitable for energy sensitive environments due to its operation mode without permanent coil energizing. The Micro K THR is available as a single and a twin relay.
