The Nano Relay family is the benchmark for successful miniaturization of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) relays. DEsigned for the limited PCB space in relay boxes of modern automotive and commercial vehicles, the Tyco Electronics Nano Relay offers many in-vehicle packaging options that are appropriate for motor reverse applications. Tyco Electronics developed the innovative Nano Relay concept using design-to-quality to meet the increasing quality requirements in the automotive industry. An overmolded relay motor (coil, frame and core) ensures the highest precision in the assembly and limits risk of contamination to the absolute minimum. It also retains specific mechanical parameters and adjustment-free processes. In addition, the overmolding of the coil system improves the heat dissipation of the Nano Relay and maximizes the relay performance. Compared to standard PCB relays, Tyco Electronics Single and Twin Nano Relays achieve a substantial reduction of the PCB area and are suitable for a wide range of motor reverse applications.
