The new-generation FAKRA IV RF product family was developed for automotive AM/FM, GPS, and SDARS cable assemblies and PCB header applications. The connectors meet USCAR-17 and DIN 72594-1 specifications. Multiple keying and color variations are available.

- Ergonomically designed larger thumb pad and an improved latch with anti-overstress protection and audible click
- Accommodates RG-62, RG-62U/Mod, RG-58, RG-58 Low Loss, RG-71, RG-71 U/Mod, RG-174, RG-316, 1.5CS-QEHV cables
- Accommodates coaxial cables with 180-degree or 90-degree cable exit
- Slots offer flexiblity to accommodate multiple body clips
- Fast and easy termination using proven tooling

Printed circuit board FAKRA IV products feature an eye-of-the-needle center contact for positive retention during processing. The rugged design is available with latch positions at three o'clock and nine o'clock in addition to the standard twelve o'clock position.
