Tyco Electronics low power sealed lighting connector has been developed for indoor/ outdoor lighting applications, and is well suited for any application where low power (5 amp, 300 volts maximum), sealing (IP67) and UV resistant (UL F1) connections are required.
The initial product offering will include 2, 3 and 4 position wire-to-wire and wire-to- board configurations with vertical and right angle, surface mount (SMT) and through-hole printed circuit board technology. The connectors are available in black and white.
The single row, low profile connectors have pre-assembled interfacial and rear seals that accept crimp snap 18 -22 AWG and 22 - 26 AWG terminals that are inserted through the real seal. The polarized connectors have rounded corners with a single, positive latch that is integral to the body of the plug housing preventing unintentional disconnect of the snag resistant connector.
