Driving the drinks industry
This range of motors has been specially designed to drive
carbonating & circulating pumps. They are mainly used in
the drinks dispensing industry, but are used on other
applications, an example being the water cooling system on
a vending machine.
The standard range
The standard range comprises outputs from 60W up to 250W with both continuous & intermittent ratings
available. All motors have a specially machined flange
endshield and slotted shaft, making them suitable for
connection to carbonator and other similar pumps. The output
range is covered by two frame sizes BR20 and BS40.
The BR20 outputs range from 60W for continuous low
pressure pumps to 180W for intermittent carbonating duties.
These motors are permanent split capacitor type with ball
bearings and automatic overloads.
There are three BS40 motors in the range - standard length
180W and 250W versions and a new compact 180W model,
which is shorter than the standard motors. BS40 motors have
split phase windings, ball bearings and automatic overloads.
