A wide range of high performance, cost-effective switches are available:
These switches are ideal for local workgroups, small offices and SOHO applications. Some switches have either a fixed or optional fibre uplink port to enable high speed connections to backbones, servers and NIC cards. With an emphasis on high quality, competitive cost and ease of use, these Ethernet switches are very simple to install and use.
The 16 and 24 port Smart switch II have optional 100Base-FX fibre uplinks that support a range of fibre types including multimode and singlemode with ST or SC connectors. Dual uplinks can also be provided with support for Gigabit SX, LX, and Copper.
The 8 SNMP managed switch provides a high level layer 2 switching functions such as QOS and tagged VLANs. This switch can be fully managed by either local terminal port, web browser or SNMP.
The new 24 Port Stackable Managed switch has all the optional uplink benefits as the Smart Switch II, with the added management and switch functions such as IP Stacking, SNMP, and tagged VLANs.
