Inductive Limit Switches - Military and Industrial-grade versions

Limit switches have been designed to detect the presence or lack of presence of an object. A limit switch is an electromechanical device operated by a physical force applied to it by an object. Our KISSLING limit and inductive switch portfolio have been designed for mission-critical applications with extended environmental shock and vibration resistance requirements. We offer both military and industrial-grade versions, and all of our limit switches are enclosed in steel or aluminum housings and sealed up to IP40, IP65, or IP67 depending on the configuration.

KISSLING Limit Switches

Our limit switches have a nominal load up to 7 A at 28 VDC (ohmic load) and a minimum switching current of 5 mA at 15 VDC. Our portfolio includes options for 1- and 2-pole switching configurations, special models for extended operating temperature ranges or extended life cycles, various electrical connection types, and several different housing styles and actuator geometries. 

 

Some of them feature a locking function. The locking mechanisms are manually operated with two switching positions. The change-over from switching position 1 to switching position 2 occurs whenever the actuation knob has been firmly pressed down. The switch remains locked in switching position 2. Twisting the actuation knob in the direction of the arrow will release the locking mechanism and the switch will snap back into switching position 1.
