What's New on the Web

Obtaining Tyco Electronics product samples has never been easier. And now with the implementation of My Cart, it is even easier to request samples. Samples can be requested (and added to the My Cart) from the My Part Lists application, as well as the Product Details page of any active product. The new user-friendly service features real-time sample availability and the simple, ordering process does not require a customer account number. Any user wishing to request free samples may do so at any time after going through the basic registration process.

To easily obtain a Tyco Electronics sample for your design project, look for the Request Sample link. Samples generally ship within 1 business day and can be sent anywhere in the world.

Many new time-saving improvements have been made to Check Order Status.

'Starts With' Search
You now have the ability to enter the first few characters of a TE Order Number, Purchase Order or Customer Part Number and search for matching orders.

Quick Search
On the Order Details screen, you can quickly search for another order by TE Order Number or Purchase Order without going back to the first screen.

Pagination
When there are multiple pages of order items on the Order Details screen, you can use the new page drop-down to go directly to any desired page. The Next and Previous links are still available for browsing.

Find Part Within This Order
When there are multiple pages of line items in an order, you can click on the Find Part Within This Order link to search for a part number within the order.

In the Find Part Within This Order window, choose TE Part Number or Customer Part Number, enter your part number and click on the Search button.

All items that include the part number will be displayed. You can click on View All Order Items to return to a view of all order items or you can search for another part number within the order.

Open Order Report
The Open Order Report has been improved. The report will now include additional information about your Account, TE Confirmed Date, TE Part Number, Product Description, Unit Price and Line Price. Click on the "Send me an Open Order Report" link to request an Open Order Report. You will receive an email in 10 to 15 minutes with a link to download your report. You can also manage this and other Tyco Electronics downloads on the Manage My Downloads screen.

Product Details (Quick View)
On the Order Details screen, you can hover over the part number link to get a Quick View of product details.

There are now two different ways to enter more than one part number at a time on our Cross Reference Products screen.

Submit a Spreadsheet Request

You can now submit a spreadsheet of up to 2500 part numbers and receive a spreadsheet of cross-reference information in return. Click on the Submit a Spreadsheet Request link in the Quick Links section.

On the Submit a Spreadsheet Request screen, click on the browse button to select your spreadsheet. Tell us whether to skip the first row or not and tell us which column contains your part numbers. Then just click on the Upload button and your spreadsheet of cross-reference information will be generated.

Enter Multiple Part Numbers

You can now enter up to 20 part numbers for an Exact Match cross-reference search. Click on the Enter Multiple Part Numbers link to use this new feature.

On the Enter Multiple Part Numbers screen, copy and paste up to 20 part numbers into the input box and click on the Search button. A spreadsheet of cross-reference information will be generated.

English, German and Chinese speaking product information specialists are available on-line during the following hours.

English - 3:30am - 7:00pm ET (8:30am - 12:00am GMT), M-Fri
German - 8:00am - 3:00pm CET, M-Th; 8:00am - 1:00pm CET, Fri
Chinese - 8:30am - 5:15pm CST, M-Fri

Manage My Part Lists Screen
Do you want to share a list of Tyco Electronics products with someone else? Build your list of products with My Part Lists and then generate a spreadsheet using the new Export to Excel link.

Product Comparison Screen
Do you need a printer-friendly version of your product comparison? Just click on the Export to Excel link.

Product Feature Selector Screen
Are you trying to find the right product with Product Feature Selector? Click the Export to Excel link and compare your results.

The My TE Advantage newsletter is designed to keep you, the customer, up to date about our products, services and latest innovations. You can now receive a customized edition of the My TE Advantage Newsletter to deliver a personalized, content rich newsletter providing relevant information specific to your areas of interest and needs.

The My TE Advantage is published monthly and features the latest information about our products and services. It also offers news about the newest developments on Tyco Electronics website and information about upcoming trade shows and other industry events. Registered customers can use Manage My Subscriptions to customize their newsletter and receive relevant content based upon their Industry and Product Categories preferences. Providing subscribers with the ability to manage and control their preferences to ensure they receive information specific to their areas of interests and the ability to modify preferences as their needs change.

For registered customers
If you are a current registered user of the Tyco Electronics website it is quick and easy to subscribe and set your industry and product category preferences. Use the Manage My Subscriptions to enroll and set you preferences.

For non-registered customers
If you are currently not a registered customer, you can quickly and easily register on-line using the registration form. Once registered, you can personalize and change any of your options by navigating to the Manage My Subscriptions application on the My Account page. With this free registration, you will also gain access to My Part Lists, free samples, personalization, and more to come!
